Please add Claude and other LLM Models in such a way that servers are located and other data processing by the provider and any third-party companies takes place (e.g. for the operation of the AI tool's frontend, for support purposes and further development) in the EU (European Union). E.g. Amazon Bedrock in Frankfurt Germany

They are already required by the GDPR to ensure that the data is processed in a GDPR-compliant (for all personal data related to European citizens) manner. Any violation can be reported to Kagi. If a resolution is not provided in time, you can file a complaint with your local data protection authority.

This actually triggered a broader idea for me. It would be nice if Kagi could / would implement a featureflag to say "I only want models hosted on xyz" (Europe, us, CN,...).

Why I think this would matter?

It's an easier compliance check for companies wanting to use this.
you might not want your own data to be processed / in easy reach of certain governments/authorities

Yes please! This feature would be very welcome for Kagi users in the EU.

Perhaps this logic could work with minimal modifications to "preselect" only models with specific privacy level.
For example "I only want models with no logs policy". Personally I do not mind if my data is processed outside EU if no traces are left and my privacy is kept.

But realistically if both options were there, I'd choose both maximum privacy AND EU only, because why not.
