Boomkop3 there's no such thing as absolute privacy to begin with, at the very least there's always metadata and logs somewhere...
I also don't think it would be good product strategy to market a service with a metric that ranges one of its attributes from bad to worst, basically. The star rating is serviceable to reasonable degree and is a more elegant a
solution, as long as people have the fundamental understanding that there's no absolute privacy when using any service.
That said, Kagi could certainly take steps to make the service more private, like hosting some of the models on its own infrastructure instead of always relying on third party providers
