Essential it turns kagi universal summarizer into a podcast generator for uploaded documents and links. This feature would be like notebook lm's podcast feature. I think the current universal summarize is no offense kind of not helpful since if i wanted a summary i would just use kagi assistant and then that also allows me to ask follow ups. However if the universal summarizer could make documents attached into a podcast that makes it useful in my eyes since i get an audio overview in a simple and clear or long and detailed format. This would highly elevate the user experience and the information digesting experience. You could have an llm intake and generate a script for the documents attached, then have a model like kokoro voice the podcast. I think that would provide a good base for latter refining the output. Using an open weight model fine tuned on summarization or podcast speech data could lead to low cost realization of the product.
They could to universal summarizer tab to upload documents and links and then in a minute or two it spits out an ai audio overview. You could also have this in orion or as a web extension that contains a button up top that turns your page into an audio overview, for single document summaries. The user should also be able to specify if they want a highly detailed and in depth analysis, or a simple and easy to digest overview. Also if you go with my suggestion of kokoro, it will have many voice options that you can allow the user to toggle through.
