Kagi assets licensing clarification

I'm trying to understand under which license Kagi assets (specifically - companions) are published https://kagi.com/assets
The closest thing I found is in Privacy terms https://kagi.com/privacy#Terms-of-use
"Proprietary Rights Kagi does not grant you any intellectual property rights in the Services that are not specifically stated in these Terms. For example, these Terms do not provide the right to use any of Kagi’s copyrights, trade names, trademarks, service marks, logos, domain names, or other distinctive brand features."

I didnt find any other EULA documents, at least using "kagi search" and poking in obvious places: home page footer, settings.

What I'm trying to accomplish: I want to create a derivative non-commercial art - stickers, based on one of the companions.

I know this is not a "bug" per se, forgive me if I didnt find more appropriate category.

I want to clearly see if derivative work: community art is allowed or prohibited.
I want Privacy policy and EULA clearly referenced in "obvious" places. Ie "about" or in "Settings"

Sounds like a nice project! You're right that we haven't had clear usage guidelines posted to the public. We're actually working on remedying that. In the meantime, the short answer for you is yes, you're welcome to create non-commercial stickers based on the companion artwork. A couple of just-in-case notes:

Since you're creating derivatives, make sure everyone knows it's unofficial or community-created so it isn't mistaken for official Kagi materials.
Please don't sell them. Personal use and sharing with friends is great.
Don't use the assets in a way that implies we sponsor, endorse, or are affiliated with any product or service, or use them alongside hate symbols, discriminatory content, or in any context intended to demean or offend. We also ask you don't use them alongside anything that conflicts with our values, such as surveillance, data harvesting, or deceptive practices.

We're adding a proper usage guidelines section to kagi.com/assets so this is easier to find going forward. If you have any additional, specific questions about this, feel free to let us know!

johnkagi maybe consider using an established license like CC-BY-NC-SA instead of writing your own?
