Create a new document in your favourite plain text editor (e.g. VS Code).
Into that document, type any text on the first line, then press return to create an empty new line.
Select all (Cmd-A) and copy the text from the document.
Open Kagi Translate in a new tab.
Set "French" as the source language and "English" as the destination language.
Use the "Paste from Clipboard" button above the source language entry box to paste from clipboard.
Watch the tab hang.
Replicated several times on my machine using the above steps. I am using:
Windows 11 2026-03 Update
Microsoft Edge Version 146.0.3856.84 (Official build) (64-bit)
The tab should not hang.
