Korean text input corruption with Naratgeul keyboard on Android

When using the Kagi translator with Samsung Keyboard set to the Korean Naratgeul layout, some Korean words are entered incorrectly.

Examples:

간결히 becomes 간결결히ㅇ
핥다 becomes 할핥다ㄷ

The issue consistently occurs while typing words that require Hangul syllable recomposition. Previously typed syllables remain in the text, the recomposed syllable is inserted again, and an extra consonant may be appended at the end.

This is consistently reproducible in the Kagi input field but does not happen in other translators.

The issue seems to happen specifically when using the Samsung Korean Naratgeul keyboard .

It is easiest to reproduce with words involving Korean final consonant transitions, especially cases like:

ㄹ + ㅌ
ㄹ + ㅎ

For example:

핥다
간결히

The same keyboard works normally in Samsung Notes, KakaoTalk, and Chrome, so it appears to be specific to the Kagi Android text input field.

Hi, fellow Korean here who volunteered to translate Kagi Search and some parts of the Translate app.

I think Kagi doesn't have staff/devs who are native Korean speakers atm, so resolving this issue might take some time.
(Actually a very small number of Korean or gyopo people used Kagi before Translate went viral this month.)

Also for the devs:
Naratgeul is a keyboard layout that was used on some Korean phones before the QWERTY-based layout became the norm in the smartphone era. The screencap below shows a keyboard app by Naver. (The Naver one does not have the same issue OP described.)

The Add Stroke (획추가) key is located at the bottom-left of the keypad

간 → 1-3-2
결 → 1-3-3-[Add Stroke]-4
히 → 8-[Add Stroke]-9

This completes the word 간결히.
