I'd like an added feature to overlay the translated text directly onto the image, like Google Translate/Lens does.
This keeps the visual context, which is much more useful for things like menus or signs or screenshots where the layout matters, rather than reading a separate block of text.
Currently, uploading an image to Kagi Translate just outputs the translation text and sometimes description of what it sees, similar to how I would upload an image to any chatbot and ask it to "translate this image"
- Open Kagi Translate and upload an image with foreign text.
- The app translates and overlays only the translation text directly onto the original image (keeping the background).
- I can just look at the image result without having to match the translated lines to the picture.
