The implementation of smooth swiping/scrolling between images on mobile would be great. At present, the experience feels aged and as a user I feel unsure whether my swipe action has resulted in moving to the next image until I am at the next image. By this, I mean that swipe UI feedback allows a user to differentiate between a slow/unresponsive phone and the image search interface not responding itself.
At present, too, the experience is different to Google's — where smooth swiping/scrolling is implemented. This is regardless of browser.
