Can confirm, I especially have noticed the Iran one, translating to "Irã", instead of "Irão", though once, and only once, Ive seen it translated correctly. Israeli also gets translated to "israelense" instead of "israelita".
This is a part of a wider problem as Kagi translate is also prone to the same mistakes, Kagi proofread even suggesting some adjustments to supposedly make the text more idiomatic when what it means by that is that its making it to be more in line with the Brazilian dialect as opposed to the Portuguese one.
Edit: Don't know what models Kagi is using, but GPT models are particularly prone to defaulting to Brazilian Portuguese even when specifically asked to use Portuguese from Portugal, sometimes changing even mid chat, some other models also tend to do that, even if to a lesser extent
