Kagi Assistant’s limitations really make it unusable.
100,000 characters ≈ 25,000 tokens
Why are you even limiting it? Haven’t you implemented a cost by tokens?
What techniques? Why don’t you explain?
Also, Kagi Assistant’s output token limit isn’t mentioned in the documentation, but there is an artificial limit on models.
For example, Gemini 3 Flash can normally output up to 64k tokens, but with Kagi Assistant you can’t.
Also, their system prompt is poorly written bloat. Why is there even a system prompt for normal chat usage?

I hate system prompts because they decrease models’ accuracy and change the model’s own style.
But Kagi Assistant’s system prompt is ridiculous. It has conflicts, uncertainty, and unnecessary strict rules.
Just give me the damn model access, not some cheap wrapper.
