I'd like to be able to upload and use AVIF images in Kagi. Specifically:
- Image Search: Use AVIF files for reverse image search
- Assistant: Upload AVIF attachments for the AI to actually see and analyze (currently they get treated as binary files and the model hallucinates)
AVIF is now supported by all major browsers and offers much better compression than WebP. It would be great if Kagi handled these files properly instead of requiring conversion to older formats first.
