I'm using the following extra context in kagi proofreading settings:
NEVER CORRECT:
- Adding á, é, í, ó, ú to words written with a, e, i, o, u
- Capitalizing the first letter
- Expanding abbreviations pa→para, pq→porque, tb→también
I'm using it to correct whatsapp and such kinds of informal messages, where if you had every accent and capitalization perfect, it would sound weirdly formal and even artificial. However I do make plenty of other errors (gender agreement, not using subjunctive case, etc) that will sound weird, and shouldn't be made, even when writing in an informal style. I'd like kagi proofread to only correct the second kind and ignore the first kind.
It follows all my instructions about what kinds of things not to correct, except for accent marks. No matter how I prompt, and what examples I give it, I cannot get it to stop correcting every missing accent mark. Is it possible to get the proofreader to ignore missing accent marks?
